The Villa Wrea Green is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Commis Chef who has a passion to deliver great food and service whilst being able to work on his/her own initiative and alongside the Head Chef.

– To ensure customers feel welcome and take responsibility for the standard of service of food and drink.

– To maximise guest experience.

– Provide excellent customer service.

– Communicate with the kitchen staff and bar staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

– Previous experience desired, however, full training will be provided.

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity to join our team, as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. The Villa Wrea Green is one of the leading hotels and wedding venues in the North West. The Villa boasts a four star rating and has two Rosettes for culinary excellence. Thirty-one bedrooms, three function rooms, bar & lounge area catering for many events throughout the year.

The Role:

As ‘Assistant Restaurant Manager’ you’ll be on the front line, delivering on our mission! You’ll be a passionate leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support your team in order to exceed your commercial goals. You’ll have high standards when it comes to guest experience, understand brand standards and you’ll take ownership and pride in your work. From syndicate rooms to conferences, exhibitions private banqueting/dinners and weddings you will assist the restaurant and banqueting departments to suit the business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

– Leadership, coaching & training.
– Customer service.
– Delivering high standards.
– Set up and running of conferences and events.
– Ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant.
– Maximising opportunities to sell.
– Stock control.
– Handle guest comments in a professional manner.
– Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty.
– Ensure guests receive a warm and personalised welcome.

What We Are Looking For:

Supervisor/Manager experience.
– A passion for the industry.
– Motivating, in order to coach and mentor staff.
– Keen eye for detail.
– Exceptional communicator.
– Level headed, able to work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in restaurant management or conference and events which would include a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality. You must have the ability to multi-task and coordinate a series of different jobs concurrently.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Flexible to include weekends and have your own transport. You’ll be commercially minded, innovative and have high expectations of yourself and others. You’ll demonstrate your passion by bringing new ideas to the table, delivering on your promises and inspiring those around you. Completive salary is negotiable dependant on experience

HOUSEKEEPING POSITIONS

To ensure all areas, especially bedrooms and bathrooms, adhere to the hotel’s high hygiene standard.
– To understand the importance of cleanliness on customer satisfaction.
– To have the ability to work well in a team as well as using own initiative.
– To have a keen eye for detail.
– To be hard working and have the ability to work to deadlines.
– Must be flexible and able to work weekends, bank holidays shifts on a weekly rota basis.
– Must be able to lift items and change beds on a daily basis.
– Work experience preferred but not essential as training will be given!
